Ordered a wiper motor and relay for my Omega .
I've not done any diagnosis yet but ordered anyway  :)
intermittent wipe has been too intermittent and sometimes not at all a couple of times over the last 2 days  :-\
then I turned OFF the wipers and they didn't park ,did the "top secret IT fix " (turn off, turn on)  :-X and the wipers did park  :)
so yes , i fired the part cannon  :o
but a few more bits of ye olde Vauxhall in the stores won't have much of an impact  :D

In my Range Rover handbook in the bulb section there's a warning in bold Danger of Death !  So I will not be attempting a change of any front bulbs.
So did your Omega, assuming it wasn't a poverty model.  Doesn't mean you cant change them, just use the sensible precautions Dr Gollum mentioned.

Can't remember if that era RRS has LED rears, if so, the same manual will probably tell you not to touch.  Hell, its a JLR product, the manual will tell you to take it to a dealer if it needs air in the tyres ;D

Its just an adviosory for the HID as they have an approx 2500V DC strike voltage and a 110V AC run voltage.

Fill your boots on the rest of them, the HIDs are also not to risky as long as you are not looking to change them whilst they are on.....

I'll just leave it to my indie, haven't got the patience or inclination to mess around with something I can pay someone else to do, he knows far more about these vehicles than I could ever hope to .

Decided to deal with the random alarm going off on the Omega...removed the powersounder, cut it open, and pleased to see the pcb had not been contaminated. Took it to my local 'old school' electrical shop, who soldered two new battery packs on it (which I provided) in minutes (for £5 he has done a far better / neater job than I could ever do), glued it back together, sealed it and refitted. All good up to now.....hopefully get a peaceful nights sleep tonight.... :y

All joking aside, i did intend to put new batteries in my power sounder and re-connect it ,
i've just never got round to it  :-[
