That will be next task, yes, thanks for comment DG. I once tried to open the cap after drive but coolant started to boil out so I stopped and closed. That made me think that it is HG-case as so much gas in the system. Have to try again.

You would expect it to flash boil if you remove the cap whilst its hot, the system is under pressure so even at 90degC coolant temperature, it will hit over 100 instantly when the pressure drops

Managed to free up the door hinges on the Hereford, well enough to get the doors to close on the locks. Tomorrow I will fill a bin bag with rotten carpet, trim panels and broken glass.

So it just keeps getting more and more🤣😵‍💫

My Touareg is the longest I've ever kept a car, 10 years and still looks like the day I bought it but with nearly 190 k on the dial now, I'm loathe to part with it as it's been a cracker

Ours was bought as a caravan tug, it's one of the few with 3.5 T towing ability although it doesn't do a lot of that nowadays

Mines a 2008 series 2 R5 5 cylinder, feels like it would pull a house down! Heaven knows what a chipped 5.0 V10 model would be like😱😱😱

Yours is 174 bhp, mine has a few more ponies added(210 ish) but still not as quick as the V6 version.
The V10 has massive torque but not that big a bhp, still fun though and sounds great

Gave it a much needed clean. Actually, the fact that it kept raining on and off, helped to make the job that much easier. :) Will be baby sitting great grandson later so it will just get filthy again.  ::)

I had an appointment at Romford hospital today.
84 mile round trip for a five minute appointment. Blood pressure, blood tests and MRSA test prior to being admitted next Weds to have my head fixed.
Might wake up speaking Swahili but will cross that bridge if I come to it.  :)
Going to have platinum in my head, so a bit worried about swmbo trying to pull it out through my ear while Im asleep.  ;D
