Thought about doing  a few little jobs on the Boxster to start getting it ready to sell, but had a severe bout of CBA.  ::)

Got the rear suspension sorted on the Austin, got to play with my new toy. Plasma cutter from Lidl, cut through 4mm plate okay. Had to clean the bracket up with die grinders to tidy the edge, upper 4 bar link now slides in from top. Tomorrow its find out why fuel pump not working.

First I will see if there is a feed to the pump and then it was the relays, just hope the ECU is working after sitting 20 odd years.

Seeing as the relay feeds the pump... You may wish to start there.

DPF Pressure sensor change on the Merc.
Lovely limp mode gone!

Bit suprised, had a feeling DPF was mapped out, as in 90k never noticed it do a regen.  Noticed it in the Zafira every time.  Weird.

Never noticed any regens on my 2 DPF'd cars.  I assume they are still in place and working, lol.

Nor me, never noticed the Galaxy do it in the time we've had it.

Took the milk float past 20k today, not bad going for 9 months' work. So far no noticeable degradation in the range and other than the infotainment freezing a few times (seems to have been fixed by an OTA update), no issues so far.

Energy consumption is a predictably dismal 2.7-3.0 miles per kwh. Who'd have thought a 2.5 ton brick wouldn't be that efficient... ;D

Took the RRS to the illegals for a valet £25 and it's looking like a brand new vehicle 👍

So after a bit of double checking it turned out that the fuel pipe had come off the top connection in the tank, original clip failed. Found a nice proper hose clip and after having a fiddle getting the top cover back in I got it fired up, tappets a little bit noisy but getting better .Well they have been sat for over 20 years, ran it till rad started to warm up a bit and gave it all a look over. Nickers, looks like front seal leaking. Had trouble fitting it when I rebuilt engine, at least I can do it in situ.

Yesterday I washed mine and put a top up on the ceramic coat. I looked out this morning and half of the Sahara Desert was on it, so I washed it again.  ::) ;D
