As if I needed this right now.
Got taken aside by my team leader tonight, he told me that Internal Systems have complained that last night I used the network in an inappropriate way.
Basically a work mate sent me some links to his own site, one of which was a (harmless) zip file, which Scansafe wouldn't let me access. All totally legit and harmless.
Now I gather human resources have instructed Internal Sys to look through ALL my browsing history and emails to make sure I'm not doing anything I shouldn't be.
Joy.
Most of the time firewall and similiar software logging databases are not arranged to hold long history data..
if the company you are working is a crowded one also filtering your requests are troublesome..
And most network engineers dont understand sql queries ..
And I think someone catch you either by the help of a scanserver or from the network load at late time..
hope this relaxes a bit..
ooops 500+...

really they need to work hard..
PS: Some companies like to use group policies on the domain + pc controlling softwares..These are installed automatically when you logon..Check those also..
