Well Insignificant went for MOT and passed, no advisories,,  :y

The fault code " service Vehicle soon" was read,,  It's 2 glow plugs, and yes the chuffing expensive pressure sensor type, after lots of looking on line,Cheapest were £175, each they are also £185 from GM who don't have any, so lots of phone calls to people who might have them, same replies "can't get them,on back back order"  so nipped into local Bennet's in Hoof'land,
"Yeah got them, genuine GM £139 each"
I'll have 2, so I'm £334 poorer, fitted before tea was ready to drink, code gone :y

Also, although not tested on an MOT (I think?), the headlight washers stopped working around Christmas. Can't hear the pump.  Another job to wait until its warmer!

Required to work for LED and HID bulbs I believe.

Don't talk to me about them. Mine just syphon out the contents of the washer bottle on first application, so the relay is removed except for MOTs.

My Volvo did same so they are no longer, strange thing is mines on normal halogen bulbs so not required anyway :-\

Gearbox in and car up and running again 8)

Got to take it steady to give the adaptations chance to re learn, but took it for a good run today, and first time I have been able to use Distronic in anger. It cuts off at 20, but in a flow of traffic it's pretty formidable. One thing you do have to watch is if single file traffic goes to two lanes and you move to the empty lane, it will accelerate to the set speed. I thought it might so was ready for it, but the person on the roundabout wasn't so sure >:D

Credit where it's due, for an 18 year old car, there's no rust underneath it which is nice :y

Will give it a month to make sure it's happy then the Bini will be going.

Reset the parking position for the wipers as it decided that middle of the screen was near enough yesterday. Topped up the PS reservoir.

Put some new rear tyres on hers earlier in the week.  She's such a hooligan, I think they only lasted 20k ;D

Took the little roller skate (C1) for MOT and got a clean pass.  :)
He had just finished testing a C1 which was 10 years newer and failed on several things, which made my day.  ;D
