Anyone want to give me £1550 for my proper red 3.2?Less miles, new cambelt, water pump, full service, new wishbones.steering idler, drop links, complete new exhaust,NEW MOT, the list goes on and is much longer than the car in question.Answer..NO! so why consider something that's so problematic? as with everyones comments there is a common vein of advice and that's basically ..look but don't touch ::)  P.S my car is'nt for sale and never will be ;)

Sure it's not for sale :-*

Sorry, just trying to get a bit of a point across,it just seemed a bit iffy the way the seller is virtually calling the shots and expecting the buyer to do what he should have done in the first place...after all that's a top dollar asking price in the circumstances. If you were to ask SWMBO if my cars for sale then she will tell you otherwise and she would throw me in as extra just to get rid of the two biggest pains in her life ::)

Any seller will want the best price for least effort. No?

Clearly going to have to have to lift a finger at this rate though.

Agreed Chris, but if it were you or me you'd take care of business before putting the car on,this just seems a bit of a cheeky way of doing things ::)

there is a nice "52" 3.2 MV6 Saloon on AutoTrader (a tad on the expensive side though) was going to possibly look at it but I'm going to try and hold out for an Elite.

Saw that one a few days ago, looks nice but I don't think anyone would pay that kind of money for it , around £1895 is as far as I would go, but it would have to have a very thorough service history.

Yep everyone says that. And they all sell. All of them, eventually.

When I was looking for the estate , I just missed out on a metallic blue estate which was owned by a Vauxhall dealers managers wife, 2.6 CDX with less than 25,000 miles, that went for £2,200 & really was immaculate.

Starting to think mine was a bit of a bargain four years ago... One owner, full and detailed service history, 97k and only £1850 ::)

Now 241k and a Cat C, but still only 2 owners and full service history. Must be worth at least £7k :P

Just noticed that the listing is now showing MOT expires 03/2014 and that the MOT is booked for Monday 1st April so either he is being very optomistic or is an April fool ;D ;D ;D

Can you get a new MOT test done without having the VIC certified ?
