I take it from above then the kit for vented discs is MBA1271.
I've just received one from Camskill & they ain't going to fit, they look like they might fit none vented though.

In that case, either someone at the Mintex factory is a complete retard or they have no quality controls in place :-X

The kit for my vented rear discs didn't fit as the pins were too short. TB now has these.

I re-used the old pins.

When I contacted the seller he apologised profusely and gave me the rear pads for free (£15) in order to avoid negative feedback. :y

I'm happy with that. :y

Right, the friggin nightmare continues .................

Back brakes in many pieces and I can now confirm that the MBA 1271 pins are only 73mm long
The ones fitted are 85mm long  >:( >:(

Can I use the old pins and the new springs which seem slightly longer from the 1271 kit ?
Need to get mobile as i've just got another job (mobile stocktaker) and need to be ........ eh mobile.

Also I think i've got to the bottom of the dodgy handling ............ one spring was missing and one of the pads had separated from the pad plate  >:(

I've re-used the old pins several times but they are really past their best & the a/r springs have disintegrated.
I've re-ordered the other kit MBA1266 from Camskill I'll see what comes in that one.

The pins in the 1266 kit are only 62 mm long Ralf  :(

I've just been on the phone with camskill and they have given me a couple of part numbers from Budweig which may do the trick  :-\
I'm ringing a local supplier now so don't run away ................

They are BSF 0667 and BSF0711

The kind lady has emailed somebody in Denmark who hopefully should be able to sort us a kit out that fits.
The nearest pins upto now is 91mm x 6mm

As a thought, MK2 Granada pins might be suitable... 2.8s had vented fronts, pins push through and are held by spring clips outside the caliper... Not sure of length/diameter but will investigate further :y

Tg, how does the spring in MBA1271 compare to my used one? Clearly if that is also wrong then the Mintex kit is less than useless :-\

I'd say that the 1271 spring is a good 8mm shorter on the pad side  :(
