These are the dials you want tunnie, and do not buy from a bmw dealer, they'll over charge you for something you can get for much less.

Yup, twisty dials, not great really. Think the Omega dash is better, it was nice, don't get me wrong, but can't justify £10-15k :-/
Its going to be tight enough as it is when i take on a house
Tunnie if you have the cash spend it now, after you got more responsibilites and a minister in the house say bye bye to beamers..

If i spend it now, can't get a house for another couple of years, i'll be 26 this year, need to get paying into a mortgage soon
forget the house.. here is the plan.. get a second hand good condition beamer , drive for some months (and dont make accident) than sell it, you wont loose much.. and than you can buy whatever you like..

Cem has hit the nail on the head there Tunnie mate, they hold their value extremely well
So does a house
yep.. but a house exactly fixes you on the 3 axis coordinate system like a road sign..
(what exactly happened me in the past) and then upgrades, repairs etc etc.. I dont say dont buy a house , but imho early for you..
Thing is i want to push to become a streaming engineer, that would be a mon-fri job not 3 days on 3 days off i do now, so would need to be closer.
Thanks to the forum the Omega is cheap as chips to run, even if the HG blows, not an issue. If i got a house i would use the train to get to work (fixed costs)
Omega does everything i want it to do, even if it costs me £100 to maintain every month, still quids in. £10k loan still going to be what £300 a month for 3 years? Be cheaper to run the 2.2 ....
But i know what you mean, buy something newish now which won't need much work done for good few years :-/
