had a go at polishing headlamp lens on driver's side...     it's better than it was, but still not perfect.....  ouch my hands.... even with a drill loaded with apolishing head and some compound it takes some doing....

is there a how to on this???   if not why not?  :y

thanks rob... i looked in the wrong bit....

using a couple of  polishing heads, some care, and a couple of different grades of cutting/polishing compound , makes a huge difference....   what i've not been brave enough to do yet,  is take the wet and dry to the lens....      i'll save that for another day i think.....

Cleaned the inlet manifold on my 2.2 DTi, not a very nice job at all, it was full of thick, sticky oil and exhaust soot :(

Pity you can't block the EGR on the Desmond Wheesel

Fitted new rear bushes to the AA's wishbones and re-fitted them.

Also did the cam cover gaskets on it

Sorted a seized HID level sensor actuator arm.

Need to bleed the brakes I think as they are a bit spongey!
