Swapped mig for an Insignia CDTI SRI as it's gone for insurance repair. Seat's uncomfortable, turbo lags & a lesser spec'd model but otherwise ok.

Although having put £85 of diesel in it, told by computer it has 645m of range, and having driven it to chelmsford, stafford, surrey, york, surrey & home discovered it was telling the truth, I wonder why in hell I'm driving a 3.2 v6 in the first place!

Are there any other diesel migs other than the 2.2?

Hmmmm. :-X :D ;D

If you go for a 2.5TD, for the love of god, make sure its a manual. Autos are not suited to engine, and return poor mpg.

Then chip it.

Unless I finally get the db7gt, or the 328gts I want, I don't think I could go back to manual, all my driving is flat out or break all, see no point in a clutch for every day driving

Is it that bad?

My old 2.5TD Auto Elite returned high 20s mpg on standard map, and low 30s mpg chipped.

On the other side of the channel, you can get on Opel Omega with a 2.5dti lump and 5-speed autobox.  Probably the best drivetrain available for performance and economy, but the steering wheel will be on the wrong side!  :-\

If someone imported one and put the drivetrain in a UK spec car they would have a very sellable car I would think.
There you go Twigs - your next venture sorted for ya. :y :D

Maybe I should rip the 3.2 out of mine and stick one in!  :y

I don't really care what side the wheel is on, as long as there's one at each corner!

Fitted some mid sections to a members exhaust keeping the irmscher back box.

Took hours to seperate the rusted sections and remove. Hours!
