Bought another one!  ::) Collect it on Sunday...  ;D :y

What flavour this time ??? :D :D :D

It's a 3.2 Elite saloon, which needs a bit of work.  A good friend of mine has been after one for a while, but doesn't have a very big budget, so he can go fook himself,Im going to break it.  :y

Thought so. ::) ;D ;D

That will, of course, be plan B if the car turns out to be too far gone...  ;)

(Yesterday)... Picked up the 3.2 Elite saloon as planned.  Needs more work than I had hoped, but overall pretty happy with it.  Just need to find some time to start playing with it now...  ::)

Big up for Kevin Wood for diagnosing a cooling fan problem with my 3.2 Elite. I visited him a week ago Sunday, and he kindly gave up his afternoon of rest to read the codes which identified the P0730 gearbox code. He also diagnosed a wiring problem which, unknown to me, was preventing the rear cooling fan from operating, on his advice I have soldered in a wire link which now allows the fan to operate normally, so again many thanks Kevin. :y :y :y

In anticipation of its imminent replacement, I had been seriously considering breaking my car :'(

But, following some very positive comments on Sunday, and an interesting chat with young Josh, I've decided to spare it from such an indignant fate :) The plan is to retire it gracefully instead. I'll not be selling it though :y

For a plod, that white paintwork scrubs up well. Probably due to all the replacement panels

Probably won't be fitted this side of Christmas as I still have to purchase the springs and top mounts, although I do now have the B4's, front and rear polly's and HD droplinks sitting in the boot!  8)
