Collected Deb's 1300 from its MOT. Which it passed, so I don't have a huge list of stuff to do at the weekend.

Most people make it go before they worry about the stopping part ;D

Should be the blocks when it's done 8)

Had a new alternator fitted today at a cost of £250, after breaking down on the A30 in Cornwall  ::)
Also realised I've still got a Monaro to deliver to someone next week, slipped my mind  :-[

"Stopping" is going on mine first, possibly with some very spangly "suspending". In preperation for the arrival of the "going".

Stopping is relatively cheap and easy to fit. As is suspending.

Going, however, is being a bit fiddly, and at this rate wont be going this year. :(

...I am also aware I'm quite good at the "buying" and bad at the doing. :-[ .... realisticly only get 3 days a fortnight to remember what I was doing the fortnight before. ;D

Not the Omega .. but Mrs E's clit ... new ARB mounting bush, 2 new rear springs, new discs/pads on the front and polished up one headlamp ... just the other headlamp to do tomorrow and it'll be ready for its retest.... would have got all of it done if ECP had actually provided the right parts first time ... muppets.. :(

knackered now but just had a curry and a beer .. so starting to feel better .. :)

That reminds me, especially as I have, unusually, all 3 cars here at the moment. None abandoned anywhere in town

Found out that the VX dealer would have done a burnout in it if I had left it there rather than wait  :o
