Fitted a new tie rod, now just got to do the tracking and the aircon needs to be re-gas. the garage have quoted my £50 for both   ;D

Had it washed by the east europeans at the top of the road. Good job if somewhat expensive at a fiver. They do run round like lunatics though, sponge in each hand....made me quite tired watching them.

changed key fob battery - first time I have bothered to do this myself. Easier than I thought as no damaged lugs etc when I opened up and no need to re sync to car.

Tried and failed to change the rear discs on next doors Octavia :-[

Stupid eejits at the factory must have welded the caliper carrier bolts in, so even on ramps, you can't get enough leverage to undo them with a two ft breaker bar >:( not that there's room to actually use a breaker bar on them in the first place :-X

I can only assume the hubs are completely built up before fitting to the rest of the suspension :-\

Did attempt to get it cleaned inside and out for a £5.....but at 4.30pm they had a queue onto the main road....so didn't bother....i'll get it cleaned tomorrow....its minging.... :-[

Did chuck £20 of diesel in it at £123.9  :y

Finally got the truck washed today after its off roading fun and down at stables,well it was clean for about an hour but does need a good polish and waxing soon.
