bought a full leather interior for the grand sum of £60 with no wear and just needing a quick clean with Autobrite direct leather cleaner.

Topped up the diff, try to do the same to gearbox but couldny get plug out :'(

Painted up a spare undamaged crash bar just incase I discover a disaster when I take the bumper off the 2.6...  ::)

I think he would have needed to leave the whole drivetrain behind, as well as a few panels  :-X ::)

Indeed, that seems to be the problem, but no official diagnosis as yet........... :) :)

And yes, it may have been a little overloaded, but only for 3 miles.......... ;) ;)  He did say he was not sure about the weight, but given the distance, and our long term relationship, he did it, the alternative would have been to tow it.......... :)

Picked up a near full black fully heated front/ rear interior( boot trim/ carpet, door trims, door cards, heat rear bench, front fully electric memory seats, centre console + switch for rear heated seats plus some other bits and pieces) from a facelift estate to be fitted to our prefaclift, still got the roof lining and floor carpet to pick up at a later date.
