Changed the PCV valves and did a little under bonnet detailing on the 645 (no Cif though so I had to use carb cleaner..)

I wondered why my head was throbbing today, I'd initially thought it was the beer yesterday

In the brief moments I managed to get electric, I charged up the compressor, so I could pump up the tyres.

It's reasonable. If I factor in fuel and beer tokens for a fatty admin, not vastly cheaper. That said, 3.2 is well over due a belt change. So a visit to fatty is in order anyway :)

Three evenings work on MrsGK's Golf cabby - timing belt, water pump, radiator, service... Would have had it done quicker if Jürgen and Helmut hadn't decided to fit a different tensioner to the Cabriolet engines, as to any other Mk3 engined 2.0.

Huge thanks to The Jason at AGP, as ever, cracking service, and what a gent. :y

Washer fluid warning on mid, then check oil too. Which did go out after less than 60 seconds  :-\

Checked after cooled for 30 mins or so, still 70% of way up the dip stick. Topped up oil and screen wash.

Reminded again that I really must get the 2.2's arse in the air, to check the knocking from the back  ;D

Fitted some proper metal coolant outlet elbows to the LPG vapouriser to replace the plastic rubbish. I defy it to leak any more. >:(
