Went to 3 scrappies on the promise that they all had a V6 Powersteering pump..... only 1 scrap yard had a V6 omega in, and that had no ruddy engine in it....!!!!

On a plus note though, there was an Omega in with Elite leathers in, so I took the rear heated seats from it :) and are now installed in mine.... so Iv now got the MV6 Recaro's in the front that are heated and now matching rear leathers that are heated also :)

My boys will be so pleased on the cold mornings o the school run :)

Easy to fit EMD  :-\

Ah , yes edited .. You mean was the sensors easy to fit ? Fairly easy , worst bit was poking through the foam and getting the wires in the correct position making sure the wires near exhaust side were out the way of any heat  :y

Luckily the sensors were finished in fast black also , no need to paint as they blend in good .

Every leather shod MV6 needs heated rears :y, especially as such a simple fit :y

I did mine some years ago, back when leather was pricey, but it was worth it to keep the old'uns I have to cart around from grumbling ;D

Sorted the headlight aim out on the BMW last week - the passenger side was pointing upward (and has been since purchase).  Nipped to the MOT place last night to borrow his beam checker and it was spot on (so spot on, in fact, he couldn't believe I'd used the courses of bricks on the side of the house as a gauge  ;D)

Ogled his Lamborghini Gallardo while I was there.  Ever think you're in the wrong business?

Today took the BMW for an alignment at the local Protyre - no wonder it had a tendency to wander as the thrust angles were all off and the wheels were all pointing in different directions  :o

Is that alignment system similar to the Hunter system? as two of mine need a proper four wheel alignment and Longshot Lane is less than 10 minutes from me,otherwise I'll have to take them to ATS in Reading :-\

Took the GS to be MOT'd at a new place, old one went bust  :( (BLD Camberley) Shame as a I was about to cash in my free MOT as they did an MOT for life policy.

But on the 2.2, fitted new rear shocks, adjusted the handbrake, replaced both front brake bleed nipples and flushed brake fluid then gave it an oil change for good measure.

Finished piping in and fitting new calipers and flexis. Now for the front wishbones.

Also discovered I forgot to order new droplinks, so I'm going to be on the blower to AGP Monday morning...

At least looks wise yes - four plates attached to the wheels and a couple of laser heads in front of the ramp.

£72 for three adjustments (front camber was fine, everything else like a dogs dinner!)
