Tyres fitted, bit noisy, but seem grippy enough, even at 9° :D

Washed it! Only the second time since I got him home in... April, May time?

Even found time to whizz the Buff Daddy over the paint, it now passes the forty-foot test, even if the paint, viewed up close, resembles Pete Postlethwaite...

Wishbones and droplinks.

Previus owner before last must have replaced them aT some point and made the fatal error of torquing the front bushes with the car in the air.  To say they were fubarred would be to grossly exaggerate.

Passed the MOT test yesterday - just. Had 11 advisories. He also mentioned that had it been tested on petrol rather than LPG it would never have passed, as emissions were on the high side (almost 2 ? ) even on LPG.

3.5 hours in total, but then the 3 of the 4 droplink nuts needed splitting off due to corrosion So could have gone quicker.

15minutes total. Which includes getting the angle grinder from the drawer.

I find the biggest problem with the wishbones is fitting the rear bolt, which isn't that hard.

No angle grinder here, just a nut splitter a 15mm socket and a breaker bar  :)
