You seem relieved surprised... ::)

Obviously angered the tester by not bringing a broom to sweep up afterwards. :-X

Received box of bits from Germany and ordered a sump gasket... Just need to bring myself to get stuck in. Not done any significant car work for nearly four months now, except for a spot of wiring* the other day :-X

* more on this later...

Put more pads on Zafira, hopefully get retest slot tomorrow.

Thanks to Mr Gixer for use of his warm facilities, would have been grim doing in snow

Not that I intend to change another gearbox in the snow, you understand.

Wishbones and full service on a Mazda 5 yesterday (in the snow TuBy :D) - If like 5 minutes with the bloke who thought "let's make it so you have to lift the engine to get the bolt out and back in" >:( ::)

Today I'll be trying to locate the annoying rattle that still remains on said Mazda 5 (ARB bush is likely culprit,especially as they are known to fail from delivery onwards :o) and replacing the rear pads on the work transit because they ran out 200 miles ago and driving gently with only 3 wheels braking is no fun ::) ;D

I think that would all be preferable to making the later oil pressure gauge(which is that's available) fit an early Cherokee which I'm struggling with at the moment. In the snow.

Choice of sub zero temps under torchlight, or a nice heated garage with lighting...

...definately worth the effort and fuel ;)

Watched that nice DTM fella change the correct boot on the Battlebus. Glad I didn't attempt it, as it did fight back a bit.

Thanks MDTM :y

And tomorrow, I shall treat the bus to some fuel, so it can get to MOT station on Monday.  That's assuming it gets to petrol station tomorrow. BP is 1.5 miles, Tesco is 2.8 miles, but a less bitty run.  Range is 2 miles.

Decisions, decisions....

Live life like you mean it... Drive to the BP, realise you've left your wallet at home so go back for it, then decide to go to Tesco's as you also need food.

Oh, it's freezing, so car will take about ten minutes idle to defrost it :D
