Stupidly put some faith in an eGay seller to get me some brake pads by the weekend.

Needless to say, tracking shows the mongrel still hasn't posted the bloody things.  I'm sure he will now respond about how he's been in hospital or how the dog ate his homework.

Drove it back from a week away in Wold Newton near Filey. Had a very good run, despite my inbuilt sat nav’s attempts to scupper that.  ::)   I may have accelerated out of an Average Speed Monitoring section of the M62/M18 (can’t remember which) a tad too early so will have to wait and see. The very last camera was about two meters ahead of the temporary NSL sign and the NSL sign means hit the gas to me, so I may have been a tad premature.  ::)

You have to be going some to get caught by average speed cameras, like Andy Burnham.

You have to be going some to get caught by average speed cameras, like Andy Burnham.

Had to Google Andy Burnham to see how fast he was going.  :y  The average speed monitoring that I passed through was 30mph, and an awful lot of people were going past me. Mine was a very small indiscretion right at the very end, where I came off cruise to match the flow of traffic. Hey ho, it’s karma for all of the early hours Cornwall runs where I’ve taken an hour and a half off the ETA.  :-[

Back in the old days, I could leave home at 2 - 2:30 pm to get to west Cornwall, and have the tent pitched and set up by 7ish, on a Friday afternoon.  And that was before the Bodmin, Padstow to Indian Queens etc bits were dualled.

Last month, it took me 6 hours each way, just because modern traffic moves so bloody slowly for reasons that I struggle to grasp.

The speed limit should be the base target to try to hit.

Yesterday, both cars had an oil change, mine got a new air filter, and hers got some new wheelnuts at the front.  Not pads, mind, as the useless egay seller is clearly a typical egay seller.

I not need to find a way to seperate one of those wheelnuts from my favourite wheelnut socket, which after an hour of trying, it hasn't budged.

I assume you’ve already tried shocking the socket in the opposite direction to free off the hex bind.  :-\

I’ve found throwing it on the floor sometimes separates them

Oh yes, no joy.

Nothing wants to separate this one.  Might have to buy a new one.  Poxy JLR wheel nuts, lol.

Chrisgixer had about 30mins trying to seperate it yesterday, and has now taken it home to have another go, LOL
