Ad no longer visible, but I'm guessing some clapped out Merc that will struggle to outlast the Mundano?

;D
Tig has probably bought it.

What are you hoping to replace the Titty X with, Tig?

......and how deep are your pockets?

Today I had to get the bus and a train....  :(

South Western Railways have now been nationalised, and the train was 10 minutes late.  To make sure it got to Waterloo on time they decided not to bother stopping at Andover, Woking and Clapham Junction, so everone who was getting off at those stops had to get off at Salisbury or Basingstoke and change trains.  ::)

My neighbour has a Ford Focus estate if you're sticking with Ford they're really quite spacious now, but I believe that they have these
"wet belts" which appear to be problematic.

I think that's the 'Eco Boost' engine. 1.1, 1.5 and 1.6 litre are the ones to avoid. If any of those are coupled to the Powershit (no, that's not a spelling mistake) auto gearbox, then you're potentially in a whole world of pain. ;D

Retrieved TPC from Gatwick Long stay. The ground all down the right side was covered in glass.

No damage or evidence and tampering on my car, so can only assume that it was less interesting than whatever was parked next to it :-\

Someone had a shitty end to their holiday ;(

There is no way that I would leave my car, no matter how plain and boring, in any long stay car park.

I tend to use the short stays when going abroad, though that is more about my idleness and utter hatred of those transfer buses than any concern about my car. And as a rule, they ain't the cheapest.

That said, the short stay at Luton is well known not to be the safest place, and ever since that burnt down, we take things like house keys with us ;D

One place I won't leave mine is the car parks in Birmingham city centre, as the cartel of gangs use them for acquiring parts to sell, and the police see them as no-go areas.  Even shitboxes are targetted, depending on whatever they have sold on egay etc.

Painted the Astra GTE seats that are going in the Austin Omega, they were grey and its all black inside. Fabric spray made it feel a bit "crispy" I will see how it is after drying overnight. I do have black leather to cover them but cant get them done in time for its maiden hot rod show trip.

This once happened to my dad in Barcelona airport car park - having a British plate on it, it wasn't a rare occurence. They took his pocket knife and 200 pesetas out the centre console, but left his extensive music collection. He wasn't sure whether to be grateful or put out at this result  ;D
