Replaced rear multiram actuator and N/S coil pack. Took up the road for a test, and OS coil pack shat itself. Took it home, changed the starter motor in the pouring rain, bolted back together... And now the sun has come out. Grrrrrrrr.
Omega ownership, I do envy you. ::)

I guess uneven tyre wear isn't a concern in that case.

But the level system will be working, unless you've get headlight field of vision flashing up on the display.

Don't get any uneven tyre wear at all mate, been set-up correctly you see ;)

And no the warning doesn't come up on the display :)

Set up correctly? What's the rear camber at 50mm drop? It's either incorrect, running poly eccentric trailing arm bushes which are not for the omega, or something is amiss.

The rear camber is fine, the front camber is fine...

Don't start on me about tyres LOL

If it's 50mm lowered, rear camber is not fine.

....but as long as your aware. :)

ABS/TC lights come up on a daily basis, can make them go out by nudging/ wiggling the ECU connector. :'(
So looks like I will be doing lots of wiggling on a daily basis..... :(

Drove the 3.2 to work, trying to shred the Nexen N6000's on the back, as they are near end of life and are shite.

Picked up a genuine new VX drivers side headlight for £40, so I can now see the road on one side on the 2.5!

I don't find it lasts very long when I do it, but maybe I'm not being aggressive enough?

Think Alternator is not long of this world on the 3.2, loud "whirring" noise with heavy lock on a roundabout and a bit of gas.

Steering not heavy, so don't think its PAS pump

Steering lock should make no odds to the alternator whatsoever, though.. if the noise changes with lights & heated rear screen you could be on to something, otherwise my money would be on the PAS pump getting tired all the same.

Worth checking the PAS fluid level, iirc, hot with engine running... :y

Cheers chaps. Will check. It's fine on the commute come, not noticed it in stop/start motorway traffic.

There are only 2 roundabouts which are fairly tight on route, which can be taken with some speed/camber. Quite a clear whiring sound, might have a few spins in a car park.
