Found the battlebus, ragged it, ignored the low oil warning, ragged it some more, put some oil and screenwash in it, abandoned it again.

Listened to the woom woom all week. Having angle ground the lip of the rear discs. Made it slightly quieter, but not much.

....then, this morning, woom woom went away around a long left hander at 40. Then came back again on the straight. Only time anything has had an effect on it really.

Easy enough to swap with the ones on the shell on your drive ;)

Yes and no. A hate nicking bots off it. It means doing everything twice. And, more to the point, in this case means cocking about with hand brake adjusters.... Counts on figures.... 8 times!

4 discs, on and off, adjusted each time. Buggeration to that. Especially as there is...

....a cunning plan. ;)

They will. Innitially at least.

Mind you, by the time I get round to it, they will probably have dissolved completely.

I had something similar on my first Omega when the inner rear brake pads became rusted in place in the caliper. Barely perceptable play in the wheel bearings caused the noise to come and go on changing direction.

The inner face of the disc was rusty and pitted though, it wouldn't have made a noise at all if it had been clean.
