Good points Andy, the hand brake is really high, so shoes probably not close enough to the hub to rub...?

Discs could well be rusty on the inner face. I couldn't be arsed to take the disc off and look. :-[ ;D

I might have a pair of out of round rear discs.

Wonder's if thats what mines is

Once again the far superior 2.2 frontera didnt need anything,but i did change a thermostat on a v6 omega  ;D

Fitted a new ac condenser and drier from cool car air con, as Masters link in parts section.

Arrived within 24hrs, very carefully boxed, fitted perfectly, no bent or badly fitted parts, went straight in no problem.

Now, let's see how long it lasts. :)

New stat/housing an transfer pipe , even the ba$tid bolt never played up much ..eh martin  ;D

a/c fan fuse was blown .. wonder how long thats been out  ::) All working lovely jubley now :) :)

Pin things, position of the pipes, and the lines on the face. Was yours from the same place..?

Gave the far superior frontera a wash,polish and wax,hoovered the inside and cleaned the inside,once again the far superior frontera 2.2 required no mechanical attention and no coolant/oil top ups,not bad for a 176k engine  ;D

Finally got round to changing the exhaust but sheared studs made it a long un.  >:(

Drived it 160 mile ... got cut up 3 times by cars and once by a cyclist not looking  ::)
