Jacked it up with the intention of finding a slight creak, layed under it just looking, fiddled with this and that, layed there looking at it, pondered the realitys of routing v8 manifolds out of the engine bay, layed there some more, and  looked at the slightly leaking sump, layed there some more, nice and warm it was as I'd just been out in it, next doors cat came along and sat next to me. ...then remembered the oil is due, so changed that instead.

Presume the polys need greasing, bugger it, can't be arsed, it will become clear what the problem is sooner or later. Now drinking the last beer out the fridge. :)

Another two tyres on Mrs VXL V6's Estate, In two months that's eight tyres i've bought across the fleet!  :'(

Removed the front and rear bushes from a pair of new Lemforder arms and a set of Polly's are sitting in the boot of the V6 ready to fit.

Decided to refit my power sounder following battery replacement. rather thing had gone off before I'd even put the scuttle back on, so that idea has been permanently consigned to the bin. >:(

No, I don't think it was actually the power sounder's fault, but the hopeless connector that it plugs into. Appears to have gone rotten inside despite being cable tied into a plastic bag since the power sounder had a hissy fit.

Perhaps a dose of WD40 in the bag first, just in case there's any moisture in the air :-\
