So, the fault is definitely present then ?

I wonder.... Would that be a cam sensor fault, per chance? ;D

Noticed a wheel speed related buzzing noise a couple of days ago. "Wtf is that?  >:(" I thought.

Today its a rumble. Ah. Wheel bearing. Bit early for an fag to fail I thought.

Jacked and inspected. Bearing rough with play. Cap off. Water evident inside. Bollards. New bearing cap used. Why hasn't it sealed..? Or has water got in through the rear seal on the hub side...?  :-\

New used bearing pinched off the other car. All sorted, nice and quiet. Used cam cover goo to seal the cap this time. Hopefully I won't need to take the cap off again, as it won't want to come out easily now. ::)

Blatted over to Kevins' to get my airbag light sorted...

My little hiccup managed to generate fault codes on every system except the Abs ::)

Thanks Kevin for taking the time to delete them all and for the tea :y

Took my Elite to have the air con fixed.

Expected to be paying for a new condenser but found that there was still (some) gas in the system.

Vacuumed out and regassed.

All set now for some warm weather  :y

I needed a manual "fix", as not owned one for 2 years.  I'd have an manual Omega tomorrow if the box was any good.  I did toy with converting my old TD to manual, as that didn't suit an autobox, but I think the horrible change would have grated on me every single day I used it...
