Noticed that the project had a lot of condensation in the pas side window. Then found that the carpets where soaked in drivers footwell, and that water was coming in through the hole where the stearing box once was.

Bollards! That's going to stink for ever more now.  >:(  :'(

Dehumidifier now running flat out.
Get tunnie over, he's a whizz with gaffer tape ;D

Then the Top Gear Botswana team to drain the footwell ;D

May be worth removing carpet and sound deadening, to dry it properly.

Most definitely, or else it will stink as the sound deadening holds alot more water than people give it credit for...

Struggling to change oil on the Battlebus, as my jack is in a location in the garage that's currently not easily accessible (still got a load of furniture in it).

Anyways, with the help of a nearby kerb, draining all done, move on to oil filter. 'dangle berries', I melted my 36mm socket last year. Off to Bicester to get another. Broke the Bullet. 'dangle berries'.

Removed plenum and inlet manifold.  Looked at the wet oily mess on and around the oil cooler plate and dabbed at it with some bog roll.  ::)

Put it all back together again.  :y

Fitted front drop links to both sides of the car, trying a non gm part this time as they were cheap, and if they dont last then i havent lost too much. The parts are made by First Line, we shall see if they are any good.
Fitted bosch aero twin flat blade wipers to replace the GM flat blades that were worn out after 9 years, huh, ''stuff dont last these days''. ;D

Found out last night that if you're really pissed off it's possible to get the Ranger quite sideways in 2WD mode, and it corners a lot faster than I'd have expected.

At the time I'm not sure I'd have cared, Al - as long as it didn't roll over onto anyone else, anyway
