No fault with Zaffy, would you believe the 2 things I was testing the boot accessory socket were both faulty ;D

Sunday actually.... Had a gentle drive about an hour away to drop a friend and her 12 week old baby home. Turned 120k and celebrated by turning the EML on >:( Gave it a good spanking on the way back because of it!  ::)

Not read the codes but guessing it'll be Pre-Cat codes as it's been driven quite gently recently.

Last week replaced all brake disks, pads and relative parts, also hand brake stuffs replaced and hand brake cable. Also found out that inner rear right piston was stuck, could not get ot completely out so just did some tricks to get it moving as much as possible and replaced outer sealant. Maybe gonna change the shole caliber later.

Also upgraded wishbones with PU-front bushings and quality balljoints, replaced sway bar pushings with PU-bushes and HD sway bar links.

Just got mailed HID-level sensor and hope that will kill my Check-light. If it does, going to MOT and if it passes I'll install my xenon-external high beams.

And change engine oil and filter.

Hope thats it for this year :D

Crank sensor.
Went without warning, but got me home. Replaced with genuine and wiring ran as per guide, only way possible really.

handed the keys to the very nice man from the Jaguar dealership,    who collect it from home,   service it,  wash and valet it,  and bring it back, all for £299 inc vat

no back ache,  no sore hands,  no neck paralysis .

pretty good value that…..  cheaper than DIY + a trip to the osteopath/physio

;)

will report back when i get it back tonight,  but allegedly,  Air , oil, fuel and pollen filters, oil change, and check vehicle over thoroughly and report back on any upcoming requirements…  (which i will then deal with as appropriate )  …. and importantly,   Jag main dealer stamp on service history …..   it has a full history so far,   I aim to keep it that way ..

it's actually cheaper than getting the omega done at a main dealer…..   ;)

Not really surprising. Vx don't need to employ anyone who is familiar with V6's these days, so most dealers are shit scared of omegas. That's why this forum is such a valuable resource to the dinosaurs who run them. ;D

Couple of days ago, washed the Bullet and TBE.

Once again, as soon as I finished TBE, a pidgeon shat on it. Again. Fortunately this time I still had all the gear out.

Payback was sweet - yesterday, neighbours called us round, there was a large hawk in his garden, tucking into a nice juicy pidgeon ;D
