Treated the V6 to a fresh oil filter and fully synth oil, had,nt changed it in a while so was very black, so will change again in a couple of weeks, mate has borrowed the old girl for a run to cornwall this weekend so will give it a good run.
I have to admit to neglecting it abit, so have some making up to do.

However, just checked, not enough fresh oil. Or any filters for the MV6 

I suppose I had better do mine seeing as I will be keeping it after it passed the MOT with only two advisories.
One was that the O/S/R tyre was nearly flat - need to get the wheels refurbed to stop that happening 
The other was for an oil leak due to the oil pan having rusted through. I put a request in for sale and wanted last year for a used one but got no response so I suppose I will have to pay £54 for one at Evans Halshaw (before I change the oil)

Stripped down the induction system on the 2.5 and compression tested the beast:
cylinders  5=14bar       6=12bar
               3=9bar        4=11bar
               1=12.5bar   2=14.5bar

Now to strip the heads off and investigate further/
