Drove the Superior MFL to Ipswich on Sunday, and ever since, unlike the yocal webbed footed mongrels, haven't seen the need for fog lights  >:(

You were (almost) within sight of the A12 / A14 at all times, and Lazydockers manor almost straddles the A12. That's known locally as a Metropolis.
Now, if you were to come to the arse end of nowhere, that's proper carrot crunchers territory. If you leave for more than a couple of hours the vigilantes check you have at least 11 fingers before your allowed back in.

I'm supposed to be back there tomorrow, but just had a massive onset of CBA.

Was that induced by the prospect of eleven fingered carrot munches... ::)

Driven it [the V70]a further 300mls-just over-all fault and fuss free for an average consumption of 39.7 mpg.So for a 2.4L petrol engine barge pretty happy with that.

This morning, drove to Hayes in the 3.2 to pick up an ignition switch and lock assembly from Pauls (thanks very much Paul). This afternoon, after giving lunch guests the bum's rush, transferred the sliders from the damaged barrel into the 'new' one, and refitted the barrel to the TD, now starts OK, as it did previously, but I am hoping that the new switch cures the intermittent (well only once) non-starting. :y

Removed the house bricks that had hit my windscreen courtesy of the druggie filth that crawls the streets  around here.
