the d1ck head that pulled out in front of me earlier today. It wasn't that he pulled out & made me brake hard, he pulled out way in front of me, but he then bimbled along at about 25mph on an otherwise clear major road. Too many islands along the road so couldn't overtake!  >:( >:(

Yes....this is also tends to piss me off.

If I pull out in front of another car I'm up to speed and gone in a matter of seconds. Quick cars help in this respect. :y

When in this situation I usually note that a) there is no one behind me so they could have waited the two seconds for me to pass the junction and b) they usually then want to turn right about 20 metres ahead and sit blocking the road waiting for the oncoming traffic....

Other hate is people who want to drive over the speed limit in built up areas / past schools etc then can't drive anywhere near the national speed limit when driving on normal 60mph A roads.

The amount of roadworks in our town , it's an absolute mess the most annoying part is that there's not any workers around, there are temporary lights bollards galore & gaping holes in the road whoever arranged all these so called "road improvements" needs shooting.

This.

Quite often it is an old boy in a 1967 Triumph Herald or Austin 1100, so progress once in front of you is usually glacial. :-X

This happens to me on a daily basis. Hence three blood pressure tablets a day.  ::)
The answer of course is to be allowed to shoot them, but we live in a world of woke.  :D

Maybe, but soft and cuddly relative to where I was when I was younger.  :)

Think yourself lucky you are nowhere near the pointless Birmingham to Wormwood Scrubs railway being built.  We've had constant road closures for that for the last 5 years, with no end in sight, because they are building it by natural erosion.

When I was working the cons thought I was firm but fair, but certainly not someone to get on the wrong side of, so in comparison now perhaps the soft & cuddly side of me is emerging..😁

For donkeys years every time we've had a period of wet weather a damp patch has appeared in the floor of my shed, and I've never been able to figure out what causes it.  The gutter looked fine and I even treated it to a new roof a few years ago, but that didn't solve it.  :-\

Yesterday I saw the end of the gutter had fallen down as the screw in the clip had rusted through. When I went to fix it, I realised that the gutter wasn't one length as I always assumed, but two short lengths with about a 50-60 cm overlap and the clips were positioned right at each end of the overlap so it wasn't obvious. It probably would have been OK if the gutter had a decent run, but it was level and running slightly uphill at the outlet, so the water was pooling in the gutter and dripping out through the overlap, causing the damp patch. ::)

So I'm pissed off with myself that I never examined the gutter more closely and it's been leaking for years!  :-X

Happily, after fixing the end of the gutter a bit higher and treating the overlap to some silicone, which will sort it for the time being, I had a root through my Aladdin's cave of a lockup and found a suitable length of gutter and downpipe, clips, end stops, an outlet and elbows, to replace the silly little shed gutter with full sized gutter that will be able to handle climate change downpours!  :y

I expect my water butt will fill up a bit quicker as well!  I always wondered why that took so long as well .......   :-X  :-[  ;D

But the BBC and other do-gooders promise Saharan summers and Indian Monsoons, and top the year off with artic winters.
