2nd day running, the trip to the scrappies to get some decent bonnet struts, was a failure  :'(

Fixed a problem with the alarm going off on TBE though...

Hand brake shoes checked , all mechanism intact and working . Cleaned the inner drum and sanded the shoes .
Greased all underneath the car by hand .
Brake pipes cleaned and greased.
Sat down / fell asleep .

yesterday, got mine washed and also cleaned inside, then treated it to a good polish and underbonnet detailing, so that she'd look spanking at the VBOA spares day today   :)  I also fitted a new 'Dualfuel' badge obtained at great expense from my local Vauxhall Dealer to the tailgate  :)

Drove it. A lot. Brackley. Bournemouth. London, over the weekend.

I rather hate London. That poxy Hammersmith flyover has buggered the whole road network west out for the smoke.

...and why is there only ever a queue on MY side of the carriageway?

Not so much done to, rather, done for.
Took a nice drive in the camper to Los Gallardos, about 70km North, picked up a trailer that had been 'made' from the back end of a Carlton estate (omega A so it's still a club car) drove that back after pumping up a tire, dropped off at the man who is going to do the repairs to my Carlton estate after a rear end shunt. He seemed happy as larry (once I could make him (morrocan) understand what the trailer was for. He gets all the spares he needs to effect the repair to the boot floor and offside rear chassis member, I get a complete rear suspension subframe to re-furbish and fit to mine once the body repairs are done.
No pics today as I forgot the camera, but will have some tomorrow of the trailer and the car before the work starts.
As a footnote, I will be doing some small stuff to the Elite estate after the 22nd when I'mback in Scotland for a wee while, hopefully get to zoom down to Fife and meet up with Mr. H21 for a tech 2 session.

ABS light was often on but the sensors at wheels were right.Later checked the connector of ABS and found some corrosion at the pins. Seems OK.
