Today I removed the dealer-fitted Ericsson phone kit (anyone want it? lol) and wired in a bass box for a little extra oomph. This evening I'll be setling in to watch a DVD of a couple of handy types wielding spanners.

Tomorrow... Cambelt!

Washed them both, before the hosepipe ban kicks in.  The MV6 was absolutely filfthy after a week in Somerset, and the front wheels as black as Hotel21's humour.  Need to polish the glass, as the sun was out, so got some streaks on the glass.

Changed the gear shift cable bushes on the MR2.. remembered what a pig it was to do last time (d'oh!), dropped one twice (grr), skinned my knuckles .. and found out why the back end felt so wayward (that tends to happen when a trailing link bolt is loose  :-[ )

did a 380 mile round trip this weekend, stayed at mum's in Hertfordshire last night, then today drove down to Suffolk to see 'Twiglet' and aquire a few spares and cross his palms with beer tokens   :)

Roll on Easter so that we can start fitting the newly aquired goodies   8)

Washed, squeegeed (is that a word?), shammied. Then a bloody tree decides to shit all over it.

Did my second front suspension top mount.

Both done now.

1st was fubar, 2nd very tired.

So much smoother now.
VX prices are extortionate at about £100 a side, used febi from my local factor at £38 a side for mount and race :y  Very pleased with the results.

Good question....doing the worst side hadnt...
but ive just done my test route, and nothing so far..

That said, when I did the 1st side, it was 24 hours before it knocked and rattled again, very strange.

fingers crossed :y  steering is certainly much smoother, with less roughness transmitted to the car.
