407 miles out of one tank in a 3.2 is damned good going!  I'm lucky if I get 300 sometimes!!  ::)

It got to 419 before the fill, with 9 miles left on the range

As I said, lack of traffic & an almost constant 75mph seems to be the trick.......it was at 32.2mpg at one point!

And a sainsburys near star city 131.9p was quite pleasing too!

Had 500m from a tank in the 3.0l auto.  Never got close to that in the 3.2.  The 3.2 simply isn't anywhere near as economical.

Had 500m from a tank in the 3.0l auto.  Never got close to that in the 3.2.  The 3.2 simply isn't anywhere near as economical.

Oddly, my current 3.2 seems better than both 3.0's I had before it....assumed better engine as newer design- even tho slightly larger?

Although I should point out that this is usually with a GVW of 3.5 tonnes!  ;D

Run the engine after cambelt and stat change on my 3.2 Elite. Whoopee!!!, temp now goes straight to mid position. Changed oil and filter, air filter, and droplinks. Brake bleed tomorrow. :y :y :y

Suspect the poxy, useless lower CR doesn't help matters...
