Got a tyre to replace the one I punctured at the lakes meet and spotted some rust appearing on the wheel arch :'(

That'll be sorted ASAP though, before it gets a proper hold. I've got a friend/acquaintance who runs a body shop and he's already given me a sensible quote to remove all the rot and respray (and blend) the rear quarter :y

TBH, most people wouldn't have noticed it as it's out of sight on the underside of the lip but will be creeping up soon :D

Unfortunately the car was a little neglected in the 5 months it was parked up... It didn't even get a bubble bath :-[ Not any more though :y

Drove it, a lot.. well, not today but over the last couple of weeks it clicked over the 99000 mark (86000 when I bought it, IIRC) and it dawned on me that I really must check how long ago the cambelt was done.

Oh and that the engine has an odd knock that sounds a bit bottom-endy. Aside from the drop link that clunks like there's no bushing left in it at all (probably because there isn't).

That would have more than paid for that LPG kit you keep pondering ::)

Decided to replace the Pollen filter on SWMBO's Zafira.... what a bloody pain in the a*se >:(

Glovebox out, remove plastic panel that runs underneath/above footwell.  Undo 2 bolts and drop a metal plate out of the way, remove plastic airflow tubing then finally get to 6 screws that hold the plastic cover over the filter!

What the hell were they thinking when they designed that ???

Oh well, at least that is another job out of the way :y

Started it this morning. Went on about the third attempt. Completely dead the first couple of times I cranked it.  :(

Thought to myself "that felt a bit crank-sensory", and it has been a little slow to start, and lumpy at idle recently. ::) Considered getting the roller skate out instead, but it's buried in the garage thanks to recent weather, and I was running late.

Pedal trick showed just the usual - 0420 & 0430.

I wonder if it'll get me home? :-X

Spare crank sensor ordered.

Ah, I'm glad it's not just me! That's what I did - spent a week thinking "Hmm, I wonder if the crank sensor is on it's way out" .. and then it promptly gave up, just like yours. Still got me to work and back two/three times (struggling to start) before it packed in completely, though.
