had a serious miss fire on way home Thursday-so last night  i got leads + coil pack off and fitted new leads and pack that's been on shelf in workshop for a few months-started her up today and all good--yes they're genuine parts---get parts and store them-you never know when you going to need them--as most problems occur at night or late sundays >:(
Ain't that the truth ::)

Ragged the tits off the bullet.

The waterleak is no longer catastrophic it seems, and no more steam billowing out of the bonnet.  Jury still out if that's the only water leak on it.

So tackled the glowplugs on the bus. 1st one, straight out. No 2, nah, no budging that, so squirt it in plusgas, along with 3 and 4. 3 and 4 come out no issue, return to 2. Felt it give, look at it, looks at strange angle, so "tighten" it back a shade. Now looks straight. So that little oppser is sheared.

Kicked the car, took TBE to Bicester, scoffed a Wimpy, ragged the bastid home.

Tempted to nip outside and kick the bus again. PoS  >:(

Painted four new 16" steel wheels for a mate's Capri. They were new Citroen Picasso spares, and matt black.
Now, with £20 worth of 2k silver paint and clear they are dark silver and should look really good when we put them on the car next week.

bit dodgy that as Capri was rear wheel drive and a Picasso is wrong wheel drive-nobody told you about wheel offset then- :o :o

They're actually very close to the stock 2.8i wheels that are currently on the car.
The offset isn't dependent on which end is driven but the rest of the suspension geometry on the front, and clearance on the back axle/wheel arch. That might require a small spacer, which we are prepared for.

Now the battlebus needs a new coolant bottle before I can use it again.

Seriously tempted not to bother.

Bet they are not the same as the omega ones, as I have one in the garage that was only used for about 6 weeks.

Nope.

It may explain why its always used a bit of coolant. Silly design by the look of it, there is a fusebox just behind it, and to get fuse cover off, you have to remove bottle.  Looks like previous owner didn't, as when I removed coolant pipe, looks like the small outlet pipe has been stressed. Now its completely feeked.
