3 cars on the driveway to clean this week end - cheapest way seems to be wait for the rain to stop this morning circa 11am based on forecast and while still wet, hand wash using 2 buckets of water, 2 cloths/mits ; 1 bucket with car shampoo, 1 just clean water and refill where necessary - apply wax, I will now be completely knackered so the car interiors can wait until next week

Cheaper and easier to pay the Albanians to wash it for me. :y

I jetwashed mine before I left work this morning, including under the bonnet as I suspect the oil pressure sender is leaking. It shows all the symptoms of that; a leak that's worst near the switch, and an occasional flash of the warning light while it's idling. This is a common Vauxhall problem, and i'll probably just treat it to a new sender as they're less than a tenner.

Fiited new front discs and pads to my old mig today, noticed the the front wishbone bushes are on there way so have told owner to sort some polys for it,the ones that are knackered are genuine GM arms that were fitted just before I bought it at great expense. They have done 31k miles which aint great although the age is there :-\

Treated rear arch rust, fortunately only surface and then found some more around the petrol filter cap under the rubber cover. I think this could go on and on!

Cleaned breather system trough and trough , took me 3hours roughly, just to help reducing oil leak from cam covers which I fitted a month ago(not oem part but gaskets were in the boot already so I gave it a go). Well gaskets hold for 4 days  ??? than gave up and she lost 1l of oil from then. Why did I even bother with cleaning engine anyway >:( So leak is no smaller although breathers are clean....new oem gaskets are on to do list for next week :(

Sod all, apart from drive it.....Skoda's don't go wrong....unless you hit a pheasant  :y

Oh should add aircon isn't working, but that maybe pheasant related too or the fact I haven't used it in months and the gas has leaked...dunno until I get it checked out  :-\
