I fitted the new to me front grill to the Mondeo this afternoon.  :)

Turned out that it wasn't missing tabs after all, and the tabs I thought were missing turned out to be on the bumper. So apologies to the scrapyard monkey that I dissed!  ;D

So it was simply a case of prising out the remains of the old one and pressing the new into place, click, click, click as the tabs slotted into place and two fastenings at the top. Easy.  :y

New turbo boost pipe fitted on the RRS, I'd noticed a slight misting of oil on the plastic cowling above the radiator,so  I drove it over to my indi in Peterborough he went straight to the boost pipe twisted it to reveal a two inch split . He asked if I'd noticed a drop in performance which I hadn't but what a difference on the drive back home!

You should have surely should  have noticed that! But enjoy your extra big uplift in performance, good job you picked it up otherwise it could have resulted in new turbo time as the turbo would be over speeding trying to compensate for the loss in boost.👍

Stripped what I needed out of a complete body loom for TPC. Still cheaper than buying the single loom on permanent backorder though.

And now I have all the hardware, the memory rear seat conversion is in full swing.

Slight mission creep, it now also has ISOFIX on the outer two seats as a handy whileyoureinthere...

.I Don't  think its been happening for long , I have the bonnet up every week checking fluids etc. fortunately the pipe is right at the front of the engine compartment the misting of oil was visible on the plastic shield over the cooling fan , hopefully no damage to the turbos fingers crossed, otherwise I could be looking at a £3,000 job.A new genuine LR pipe was £43 and 15 minutes labour £23.75 then + VAT so definitely glad I spotted it..👍

Got an EML which I reckon is connected to the way the gearbox has been misbehaving, probably a pressure control solenoid. Gave it half a litre of ATF yesterday evening, I'll see if that makes any difference today.
I'll get the code read when I get a chance and, if it is a gearbox fault, I'll run it till it runs no more and call it quits. EML would be an MOT failure anyway, it's due in August, and it's not worth paying out for gearbox work.

Spoke to that nice Mr DTM bloke about how to fix my car.  That's as far as it got, CBA means I haven't actually bought the parts yet...

Individual rear seats fitted to TPC. Just waiting on some electrical bits to finish the multi contour wiring... The wires are all run through the cable trays, just the fuses and ECU plugs to connect up.

One slight snafu... When you press the switches to move the seats, there's a click from the ECU, so it's trying to do something, but nothing happens.

A quick scan suggests that the hall sensors on the motors aren't functioning. There's 8 motors and they can't ALL be bad... So suspect the ECU and/or sticking motors from lack of use, so further digging involved. Another ECU is only £25 so will start there. Current ECU is from a 2006, but the seats are slightly newer so it's possible there's a software issue. It didn't initially see the ventilated seats either, although that was just a tick box. Heating and ventilated parts all working so the car is happy with the switches.

The only immediate issue is that the headrest motors are out of position so I can't fit the headrests. But that's only an issue of anyone sits in the back, and that's not likely to happen anytime soon, and certainly not while the cars moving >:D
