prestigesec - ignorant buffoon that doesn't know his arse from his elbow, has probably never ridden a bike and tries to make up for his jealousy of others by insulting those that do.

"...we car drivers..." - Don't categorise me as the same as you just because I drive a car. I am NOT like you.

"200mph before you die" - yeah...that's driving responsible  ::). Oh, BTW, that was sarcasm just in case you thought I was being serious.

Tunnie - "...riding a bike does make you a better driver.". Oh so true.

Don’t you get the feeling that you are wrong? Everyone else seems to think so. Can’t you see it? Are you blind? Are you really as ignorant as you sound? Do you have to hold your breath when you type because it’s a bit too much for you to do both at the same time?

I have been riding bikes since I was 16 – that was 19 years ago and driving for 15 years, so I feel that I am entitled to have an authoritive opinion. As someone that rides/drives approx 35k miles year, I observe lots of stupidity on the roads of the country. 99.9% of the time, my journey is event-free. However, I find that the most inconsiderate mode of transport is without doubt the car. This is obviously not the fault of the car, but the idiot behind the wheel. There is obviously going to be a small number of bikers that ride like idiots, but to tar all bikers with the same brush is just plain stupid. It’s like saying that all Volvo drivers are boring old farts or that all Police Officers are corrupt – it’s utter crap.

So, get a grip...and get a life.

What a load of 'dangle berries', and one thing in life i am most certanly not jealous of is a push bike with an engine so either grow up or continue with your mid life crisis you sad little boy!!!
Have you ever ridden a big bike?

Been on my friends Harley nice looking well looked after, not for me though yet he rides very sensible yet his friend owns a 998 and rides like a idiot, is that how it works then, fast bike means you ride like a nutter big harley mean you ride normally?
Thats a 'No' then.  Therefore, I suspect you have no idea about riding bikes.   >:(

So you have to ride a bike to understand why people ride them like mad men then do you realise how daft you actually sound? Are you all sharing the same brain on here or something.

Tunnie - I think I've offered before, but if you want to experience being on a big bike, I'm more than happy to take you pillion.  We wouldn't take it to anywhere near performance limits, or handling limits.  a) I don't know the limits of my bike with a pillion, so ride within what I know its capabilities are, and what my capabilities are, and what the pillions capabilities are; b) you'd need a spare pair of undies ;D

The Triumph is quite soft and is not a revvy engine, it is quite probably ideal for him.

I have done 180 miles on a 100, then 180 two days later back

You have never ridden a large bike, and have never experienced the levels of performance, and therefore are hardly in a position to be able to authoritively say what is within/outside the capabilities of the machine and the conditions.

Dont need to experience putting a pair of leather pants on thanks if i need a performance rush then there is a 740BHP Ultima GTR i pop into which embarassed the friend i was talking about before and his Ducati 998. No better sound than a V8 hitting 8000RPM
You friend wasn't using the full performance of his machine then.

Well Jaime where do you consider large - my 600 was fast but not that large - I suppose anything over 60 to 70 bhp would count.

I have seen  2.3 :o :o

I'm sure you can begin to imagine the extra performance of the larger bikes then.

2.3 - that Triumph one?

It was the one that was developed for the initial GP season but had to be culled due to public reaction on capacity.....

2.3 bike engine. Hmmm how about a miggy engined trike?
I'm sure I've seen a rover V8 in a trike so why not a mig V6?
Would make doing the exhaust man gaskets a doddle. ;D
Project anyone.

Think I saw a trike with a 5.3 Jag V12 at a kit car show once. ;D Rover V8 ones are certainly around.
