Murph, not seen your Omega before, looks lovely   :y

Well, today I fitted my new 'show plates' to "Morticia" including using new backing plates so that they dont have to be drilled.

Hopefully, as the weather is now starting to warm up, I might feel like doing some proper detailing and jobs on the car   8)

have a good weekend everyone, this weekend we're planning on fitting the replacement alternator and tidying up the LPG connections under the bonnet.

well, the website I got them off says they are road legal, they have the BS thingy on them, they are correctly spaced and correct font - I've had other cars with 'slogan' plates pass MOT's and Police patrols before now with no problem at all (but I've kept the old plates in the boot just in case  ;)  )

Nothing to my Omega except moving it out of the way but..

Fitted a chargecooler system to a friends MR2, then got the Jag up in the air and on to the chassis trolleys, started stripping down the rear end to drop the subframe and IRS setup, pulled all the wheels off and stripped half a ton of plastic and assorted bobbins off the boat anchor (V12) up front. Oh and drained the fuel tank.

Then rearranged the garage and moved all the racking to the side so that we could push it in far enough to shut the garage door  ;D and discovered that trying to push a car on chassis trolleys is like pushing the most wayward Tesco trolley you've ever had, with 1700Kg of inertia...
