Put more gas in it. 18.5mpg on that tank. Beats the 15.8mpg of previous tank. Guess who's used it the most ;D

Same with any car, but especially so with Omegas, keep on top of the preventative maintenence, and they are reliable runners IMHO.

Just don't keep launching them, it buggers the suspension and alignment

Got the BMW back from the alignment-gone-wrong where the garage sheared a camber bolt off on Tuesday; took till today for them to get a replacement bolt from BMW as nobody had one in stock.

Still, cheap alignment - cost me £7 for the bolt, and the alignment came free. Can't fault their customer service, really!

With the exception of the obvious servicing, is there a guide on here?

Trouble strikes in series of three's, but when working on the car, the next job after a series of three is not the fourth job -- it's the start of a brand new series of three

Breather cleaning. :)

And I suppose... Re torque cam cover bolts. Check plug wells for oil. Re torque plugs. Check the scuttle doesn't leak onto the engine. Make sure the windsreen seal is securely clipped on etc.

Treated the old girl to a new Vx battery, was prepared to shell out for an 85ah one, (as recommended the other week) I asked for one today & was told NLS, 70ah now listed for the TD. I just hope it is man enough for the job, not much option really.  :-\

Yep.Not for long hopefully.Life/health/weather has conspired against me for months now,but it just needs a good wash & polish and it will be up for sale. Will be a very nice car for someone too.Runs as sweet as a nut now. :y
Then get the bike tidied up and get shot of that, then a good service & sort out for my Omega and then decide whether or not to sell that too. Time to clear the decks methinks. ;)
