passed MOT today, failed yesterday on handbrake, cost £27 for the hanbrake cables.
Can actually park on a hill now, very pleased!

Prepped it for it's MoT tomorrow...

Hoping for a clean sheet, although will probably get advisories for screen, headlamp aim and handbrake...

First is waiting on a delivery date for the screen, second is approximately set as per garage door/settings on the Elite and third is a bit border line, but might simply need fine tuning on the drums... could simply be a lack of use.

Had to replace the washer pump as it was dead, but everything else works as it should, so fingers crossed... :-\

Took them three weeks to get one for mine - Heat reflective with rain sensor mount. But worth the wait and a good job done by the fitters.

Have previously enquired of tester re the crack, and was told that it has to significantly interfere with my view of the road to be considered noteworthy... so fingers and toes crossed :D

Fitted Mpss. Didn't bother with set up, as it now doesn't pull. (Ran out of time anyway.)

Found my Insignia washer jets that I had previously mislocated... In a box with tow bar wiring in it ::)

Went to my local Vx dealers and got told that they no-longer do TC.... they do a different thing instead now.

I still got my discount but thinking I might ed up going elsewhere for my oil now...

After they told me what car I had and I told them what had been done, the fella went into the back 3 times before bringing out the correct oil and filter....

MOT'd the Beetle. It's done just 7 miles since the last MOT in July 2013.
