Stripped a pair of front struts for parts, measured springs in the process. Destroyed an alternator and vandalised the front multi ram. A good days work  :y
Sheesh.  :o  ;D

Changed the £$£^%$^%$ handbrake cable. >:(
Yes, a job I need to do, hopefully not this side of the MOT.  I wonder if Mr Gixer's warm garage is tidy yet. If not, I know of a very nice, warm garage a few miles from Alton :P

Put some air in some of the tyres, and took air out of the others. Drained the compressor whilst at it, been a bit lax doing that recently  :-[

And the owner has recently changed a handbrake cable so will be well experienced ;) ::)

Plus there's a magic cupboard there that seems to spew forth copious amounts of beer :y

I didn't struggle too much with the Special's handbrake cable, which is surprising as I am a total moron with fists of ham...

Changed the exterior temperature sensor - climate working properly and I am warm again  :y

The old sensor had decided it was 39.9C outside so all times!

Valve spring compressor, any idea of collet size and throat dimensions. Seen some with 25 and 30mm collets and throat dimension of 140-160mm any good? :y

I found that one like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-pcs-Car-Motorcycle-Valve-Spring-Compressor-Tool-Bit-Set-UK-SELLER-/261313098765?hash=item3cd779740d:g:RZcAAOSwPcVVhDCN  did a good job.

It's hard to argue with the price.

Changed the front disks and pads that I realised yesterday wouldn't be popular at my MOT tomorrow morning.

Went out and "tried to bed them in". :-X

There's a funny smell. ::)
