.....
To be fair, it was £122 and some pence to fill it and £28 was the puncture repair. Still far too much for a 13yr old people carrier with a 2.0 diseasel engine. Glad I'm not looking to fill something with a properly big tank.  :o ......

I filled my 14 plate  ML at the pump the other week .... the max of £120 didn't completely fill it!  ;( ;( ;(

Ran my i4 down to 8% the other day, popped up to north to collect some roof bars so I can put a bike on the roof. (in addition to the 4 on the tow bar rack)

Cost me £2.03 to "fill it" back up at home  :D
That is really cheap  :y
But you'd never get me into one of them new-fangled contraptions.

Derv and proper fuel used to be a very similar price......a few pennies either way.

Now derv is about 40p a litre more. I can't help thinking  some unscrupulous bastards out there are taking advantage of the current situation. ::)

Two new rear tyres on the E92 ……….

As you probably know, it’s pot luck what tyres you get on a new BMW, it’s sadly not an option that you can tick. I had a couple that left the factory with Bridgestone Potenza’s on my M Sports and I always found them hard, skittish tyres. On damp roads, the slightest variation in tarmac levels on a curve with the power on could lead to the rear end twitching, something I didn’t experience with the Michelin PS’s. The E92 is a well balanced car though, so it was never too much of a drama.  :y

Hankook Ventus shipped on the i4 from the factory, can't complain. Grip is great, but xdrive helps there.

Bit early to understand how well they wear down.
Car had Michelin Pilot Sport 5's on the front and Kumho kS72's (72 something lol) on the back. Have put the same on the back again on the basis that the PS5's are £70 more each tyre and im not sure how long I will keep the car... waiting for 435i Coupe's (pre LCI as I dislike the newer grill) to drop to the right price level for me!

Good choice.  :y  I had quite a few *F32’s and considered them a worthy successor to the E92. If you’re on the lookout for one, try to find one with the front side cameras. They are handy when pulling out of hedge lined junctions as it splits the screen to show both directions. You may already have these on your F10.

I had a F33 as well but TB took the piss when I was at his house in it so I never had another one.   ::) ;D

Yeh got side vision and park assist on the F10  :y

Things I miss when driving the E92 compared to the F10 are things I would class as a gimmick before owning the F10, namely HUD, speed limiter (find non-adaptive cruise pretty useless with traffic levels on the motorway these days), comfort seats with cooling and rear camera.

Did look at 640d's but the whole idea of the E92 was something smaller and petrol so Khan tax gets the finger and parking is easier.

A lot of the stuff on my X351 XJ I thought were gimmicky when I got it, but are things I really miss when I jump in other cars now.  Its amazing how quickly you get used to such gimmicks!
