Broke it again. Abandoned it again. Got a lift home to the pub.

Fixed ;)
No, due to a comedy of events, it most definitely was NOT to the pub. I just wanted to get home and under my duvet...   ...though I was surprised that Mrs TB wasn't as frosty as expected, when I call her just as she was going to bed to do a 160 mile round trip to come and fetch me.  Not that she made it, due to unforeseen circumstances.

Clearly she knows she's a bloody lucky woman.

A better day today. Just took 50 shades of grey for its MOT. Passed, with one advisory on a deteriorating number plate.
Not bad for 27 years old and 228,000 miles.  :)

Recovered Battlebus that I'd previously abandoned near Nottingham on Tuesday, due to air and electricity issues.

Had a pair of Dunlop SP Sport Maxx RT2's fitted to front of VW, lack of front end grip became too much.

Cannot recommend Goodyear Asymmetric 2's

Cannot recommend Goodyear Asymmetric 2's wrong wheel drive (for anything with more than 50 bhp )
Fixed that for you ;)

How much was left on them when the grip started to go, for future reference?

I too cannot recommend them, but I suspect I might push the a little harder - knowing your sedate style and desire for MPG, I'm guessing you're far kinder on them than me, FWD issues aside.

Kinda trying to work out why I've had issues across multiple sets with poor performance and failures, and others don't.  There were a favourite of H21 when he had an Omega, and we all knows when he gets the bit between his teeth, he can push a tyre  :-\, although I suspect he is a much better and more consistent driver than me, given his training and experience.
