After changing the above, I had a spirited drive home from work, difference was noticeable, rear didn't want to break away as normal on some bends, and entry and exits were better, so yes an improvement. :y
Just bedded in by looks of it ;D

3.2 passed MOT, no advisories. At a new 'Vauxhall Specalist' in Camberley, first time with no advisories. As my old chap always liked something on the list. As TheBoy well knows  ::)

What on earth are you referring too? :-X :-X :-X ::) ::)
And what is that supposed to mean, Glassback?

Besides, I'm over it

that's a euphemism I never expected to see in the same sentence as 'MOT' test. :o

Started off by buggering up the Special. Two steps forward, eight steps back... then was prevented from buggering up the MV6 by the female of the household. Her cunning tactic? To disappear off to work, with the brake pipe fittings she bought the other day,  firmly ensconced in her handbag. I love her but she is a little frustrating at times  ;D

Removed MV6 LSC rear springs, levelling sensors with loom and fake Irmscher grill from the 2.6.

Also attempted to remove front shocks and springs but the light was failing in the barn (no electric) and I think I'm gonna need a bigger spanner....  ;D

Lots of Plusgas used  ::) :(

It's the top mount that's the problem - I think the B4's use a Nylock nut which doesn't help. Problem is I cant use a socket and bar because the hex needs to be held so the shock doesn't spin...

I refit the original nuts rather than the nylock ones...

Ah, I see your point. Halfords do do a "shock and unlock" spray that I've used to good effect, but not sure how effective it will be on Nyloc... :y
