Repaired top strips on two rear door cards. Chemical metal seemed to work well on the front one so thought I'd use the same.

Not really... All it took was a ditherer joining a dual carriageway ahead of me, a panic braker on said dual carriageway and an overtaking Avensis in lane 2 of said dual carriageway.

To be fair, the Avensis did most of the work in about two seconds flat.

Shit. You'd better get cracking looking for doors and panels.

I knew, more or less, what had happened btw., but I was in no mood for teasing it out of you.

If I am lucky, which I generally am not, the salvage company that a recently scrapped estate went to haven't processed it yet...

Head is still banging. No significant injuries though, so all in all could be worse...

Over the last few days I have watched Mark do an oil cooler on the omega and a cambelt kit on the zafira. Thanks very much Mark. Much appreciated :)

Quite enjoyed doing the oil cooler, it's good to know I can still remember the procedure

Did one of the lower wishbones on the front of the BMW over the break (or tension rod, in BMW parlance).  Would have been an easy 30 minute job including tea break if I hadn't had to grind the balljoint nut off.

Oi I resemble that remark :D
Very true. In that order.

Sadly my insurers have rolled over... So i won't be claiming, so it won't be written off... Which is nice.

Two doors, wing, an afternoons effort and a lick of paint and all will be well. And thanks to Nigel, panels already lined up 8)
